We are currently seeking a Home Healthcare Sales Account Manager for our North Region.

We are currently seeking a Home Health Sales Account Manager who will be responsible for developing new business opportunities in Northwest Chicagoland that create revenue for our home health company. The ideal candidate will have past home health sales experience and a presence in the territory, including knowledge of key accounts and individuals. This role is ideal for a high-energy professional who has home healthcare knowledge, a proven sales background and the desire and creativity to develop and improve market share through direct referrals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Find and develop new business opportunities that result in home health care referrals.
-Manage and build on existing physician relationships within our sub-acute facilities to begin and/or increase home care referrals directly from physician practice.
-Create market need and educate physicians and hospital accounts on why they need to use sub- acute rehabilitative services and home health.
- Build partnerships with specific physicians and healthcare centers in suburban northwest Chicagoland to develop and maintain referral sources.
•Gather and develop market intelligence, conduct market research on hospitals and physicians, as well as assist in providing financial viability, ROI and resources needed for future initiatives.
•Identify trends in the market and make necessary recommendations to members of senior management followed by an implementation strategy related to current and future business development opportunities.
•Monitor key external and internal metrics such as demographics, economy, payer relations, capabilities, competitive analysis and the financial landscape of given area.
• Achieve business development goals by following a sales process, asking for the business and closing the sale.
•Managing and monitoring current referrals of physicians, including analyzing referral patterns, trends, volume and satisfaction.
•Fiscally managing expenditures and budget allocation for given areas.









Candidate should:

Be independent, driven, energetic, self-motivated and positive.
Have proven sales background
Have expertise in territory, including knowledge of key accounts and key individuals responsible for facilitating home care referrals
Show comfort with being in external sales
Have knowledge of Home Healthcare, specifically within the Medicare population
Have past experience selling to physicians
Have understanding of sub-acute services and the continuum of care from hospital to home
Prefer 2-3 years of working for a hospital or healthcare organization, home health agency or company who offers sub-acute services
